Privato Apprentice Academy offer students classroom and on-the-job training, permitting students to unlock their potential to become licensed barbers or cosmetologists. Unlike Barber College and Beauty School, we developed an efficient program through a system. Students receive an Apprentice License to work in a licensed establishment, then have the opportunity to Earn-while-you-Learn. Apprentice hours are divided into (RSI) and (OJT).
What is the concept of an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a sanctioned training program recognized by the Department of Labor Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS), and the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. This initiative enables a trainee, referred to as an "apprentice," to receive a wage while pursuing a career as a cosmetologist or barber. It offers a distinctive and exceptional approach to learning. The program spans 3200 hours, and unlike conventional educational institutions, upon completion, you will have already achieved the following:
